### description
#### Syntax

`DATE TO_DATE(DATETIME)`

Return the DATE part of DATETIME value.

### example

```
mysql> select to_date("2020-02-02 00:00:00");
+--------------------------------+
| to_date('2020-02-02 00:00:00') |
+--------------------------------+
| 2020-02-02                     |
+--------------------------------+
```
