Fixed not shown existing-email warning on new ldap user ...

- Reduced the amount of different exceptions from LDAP attempt so they
can be handled more consistently.
- Added test to cover.
- Also cleaned up LDAP tests to reduce boilterplate mocks.

Fixes #2048
