This issue was found via Discobot. In part of the tutorial
for Discobot, it asks for a URL on one line so it can demonstrate
how oneboxes work.
The way it does this when the user replies is to cook the
post raw and check if there is a cached onebox for the URL
in the post. However, if you reply really fast to Discobot
with the URL without waiting for the onebox to appear in the
composer preview, it's not cached by the time we do this
check in the Discobot code.
This commit fixes the issue by following a more simplified
approach, where we check for the existence of one of the
following links from the onebox instructions:

This will fall down if someone customizes the onebox
step text, or if the user uses a different link instead,
but we are willing to accept that risk at this time to simplify things.
We are seeing the following error on CI:

Errno::EADDRNOTAVAIL:
Failed to open TCP connection to localhost:31337 (Cannot assign requested address - connect(2) for "localhost" port 31337)
```
This is because the job being enqueued makes a HTTP request to the Rails
server but Capybara doesn't start the Rails server until a session is
actually required. Therefore, we need to enqueue the job after we are
sure that a session has been started.
Why this change?
When a site's default locale is changed, Discobot's `UserProfile#bio_raw` is not
changed and we have gotten reports about this.
What does this change do?
This change adds a `DiscourseEvent.on(:site_setting_changed)` callback
which watches for changes to the `default_locale` site setting and
updates Discobot's `UserProfile#bio_raw` when it changes.
Why this change?
Instead of manually loading files, we should just structure the plugin
so that it relies on Rails autoload strategy and avoid all the manual
`require_relative`s.
What does this change do?
1. Structure the plugin to use Rails autoloading convention
2. Remove onceff jobs that were added 5-6 years ago. There is no need to
carry these jobs anymore after such a long time.
3. Move setting of `SiteSetting.discourse_narrative_bot_enabled` to
`false` in the test environment from core into the plugin.
The most common thing that we do with fab! is:
fab!(:thing) { Fabricate(:thing) }
This commit adds a shorthand for this which is just simply:
fab!(:thing)
i.e. If you omit the block, then, by default, you'll get a `Fabricate`d object using the fabricator of the same name.
No plugins or themes rely on anonymous_posting_min_trust_level so we
can just switch straight over to anonymous_posting_allowed_groups
This also adds an AUTO_GROUPS const which can be imported in JS
tests which is analogous to the one defined in group.rb. This can be used
to set the current user's groups where JS tests call for checking these groups
against site settings.
Finally a AtLeastOneGroupValidator validator is added for group_list site
settings which ensures that at least one group is always selected, since if
you want to allow all users to use a feature in this way you can just use
the everyone group.
This commit removes any logic in the app and in specs around
enable_experimental_hashtag_autocomplete and deletes some
old category hashtag code that is no longer necessary.
It also adds a `slug_ref` category instance method, which
will generate a reference like `parent:child` for a category,
with an optional depth, which hashtags use. Also refactors
PostRevisor which was using CategoryHashtagDataSource directly
which is a no-no.
Deletes the old hashtag markdown rule as well.
Usually, when a user is promoted to TL2 two messages are sent. The
first one is a system message 'tl2_promotion_message' which triggers a
'system_message_sent' Discourse event.
When the event is fired and if Discourse Narrative Bot is enabled, then
a second message is sent to the recipient of the first message. The
recipients was determined by looking at the list of users that can
access that topic and pick the last one. This method does not work if
'site_contact_group_name' site setting is set because it adds the group
in the list of recipients.
A solution to this problem would have been to select the last user in
the list of 'topic_allowed_users', but an even better solution is to
pass the name of the recipients when the 'system_message_sent'
Discourse event is fired.
Currently, some links aren’t properly built in Discobot when Discourse
is hosted in a subfolder. This is because we’re providing
`Discourse.base_url` to the Rails helpers which contains the base URL
*with* the prefix. But Rails helpers already handle this prefix so the
resulting link gets the prefix twice.
The fix is quite simple: use `Discourse.base_url_no_prefix` instead of
`Discourse.base_url`.
Added in c2013865d78d353280ae68135b4c218e21ffb566,
this migration was supposed to only turn off the hashtag
setting for existing sites (since that was the old default)
but its doing it for new ones too because we run all migrations
on new sites.
Instead, we should only run this if the first migration was
only just created, meaning its a new site.
This commit migrates all bookmarks to be polymorphic (using the
bookmarkable_id and bookmarkable_type) columns. It also deletes
all the old code guarded behind the use_polymorphic_bookmarks setting
and changes that setting to true for all sites and by default for
the sake of plugins.
No data is deleted in the migrations, the old post_id and for_topic
columns for bookmarks will be dropped later on.
It's very easy to forget to add `require 'rails_helper'` at the top of every core/plugin spec file, and omissions can cause some very confusing/sporadic errors.
By setting this flag in `.rspec`, we can remove the need for `require 'rails_helper'` entirely.
Based on feedback from Matt Haughey, we don't need to use so many words when describing a deleted topic or post.

Over the years we accrued many spelling mistakes in the code base.
This PR attempts to fix spelling mistakes and typos in all areas of the code that are extremely safe to change
- comments
- test descriptions
- other low risk areas
When issuing the discobot certificate, we were not closing the
iframe tag, which meant that the final message instruction to
the user was swallowed up.
When invited by email, users will receive an invite URL which contains
a token. If that token is present when the invite is redeemed, their
account will be automatically activated.
This moves the way we add the user avatar and site logo
to the discobot certificates from embeded base64 png to
just using the files urls in the href to the image tag.
This will make generation faster and the certificate
smaller overall, but it can't be used in a `img` tag
anymore, since SVGs in `img` tags don't load the external images
In order to work around that we will move the certificate
in posts to an iframe, which works fine without any user
visible changes. For this to be possible the plugin automatically
adds the site current domain to the list of allowed iframe origins.
Because the site admin is sending a message to themselves, there is only one user in the topic_allowed_users, and `.last` returns nil.
Attempt to recognize this situation and continue, or bail without doing anything if this somehow happens another way.
More seriously: discobot wasn't reacting properly if users used their
emoji keyboard to insert a real herb emoji, which works just as well
in a real post.
While we're here, use String#include? instead of constructing a new regexp.

This is clearer because the base_uri is actually just a path prefix. This continues the work started in 555f467.
This is a little bit of refactoring. Core Discourse should have default promotion message for TL2.
In addition, when the Discobot plugin is enabled, the user is invited to advanced training
