1c1d687283 DEV: show no icon if icon name is missing and log at error level (#31866)
On 1st April 2025, we start showing no icons if the icon name used is a
deprecated one and therefore no longer part of the svg set.

We'll continue showing the messages with the correct icon name to aid
correction of these names.

Console logging will now be done at an error level for such icons.

We retain the behaviour of raising an error for such icons in plugins
from svg_sprite.rb in test environments, but removed this from
icon-library.js as it's harder to test the actual expected behaviour of
returning the original icon now that it's not part of the deprecation
workflow. (sinon.stub doesn't work well here for `isTesting` - the
alternative would be to override the environment.js module with
`proxyquire`) In any case, once we remove the mapping logic, we won't be
raising errors in test environment either for this scenario.

65324b6e5d DEV: enable raise_error in test envs for deprecated icons in svg_sprite.rb (#30980)
This PR raises an error on any deprecated icon names being converted by
svg_sprite.rb, which will result in any deprecated icons being processed
by the ruby lib to fail tests.

7d8974d02f UX: Upgrade to fontawesome 6.6.0 (#28778)
This upgrade is designed to be fully backwards-compatible. Any icon names which have changed will be automatically remapped to the new name. For now, this will happen silently. In future, once core & official themes/plugins have been updated, we will start raising deprecation errors to help theme/plugin authors update their code.

6e161d3e75 DEV: Allow fab! without block (#24314)
The most common thing that we do with fab! is:

    fab!(:thing) { Fabricate(:thing) }

This commit adds a shorthand for this which is just simply:

    fab!(:thing)

i.e. If you omit the block, then, by default, you'll get a `Fabricate`d object using the fabricator of the same name.

There was a lot of duplication in the svg parsing and coercion code. This reduces that duplication and causes svg sprite parsing to happen earlier so that more computation is cached.

cedcdb0057 FEATURE: allow for local theme js assets (#16374)
Due to default CSP web workers instantiated from CDN based assets are still
treated as "same-origin" meaning that we had no way of safely instansiating
a web worker from a theme.

This limits the theme system and adds the arbitrary restriction that WASM
based components can not be safely used.

To resolve this limitation all js assets in about.json are also cached on
local domain.

{
  "name": "Header Icons",
  "assets" : {
    "worker" : "assets/worker.js"
  }
}

This can then be referenced in JS via:

settings.theme_uploads_local.worker

local_js_assets are unconditionally served from the site directly and
bypass the entire CDN, using the pre-existing JavascriptCache

Previous to this change this code was completely dormant on sites which
used s3 based uploads, this reuses the very well tested and cached asset
system on s3 based sites.

Note, when creating local_js_assets it is highly recommended to keep the
assets lean and keep all the heavy working in CDN based assets. For example
wasm files can still live on the CDN but the lean worker that loads it can
live on local.

This change unlocks wasm in theme components, so wasm is now also allowed
in `theme_authorized_extensions`

* more usages of upload.content

* add a specific test for upload.content

* Adjust logic to ensure that after upgrades we still get a cached local js
on save

c9dab6fd08 DEV: Automatically require 'rails_helper' in all specs (#16077)
It's very easy to forget to add `require 'rails_helper'` at the top of every core/plugin spec file, and omissions can cause some very confusing/sporadic errors.

By setting this flag in `.rspec`, we can remove the need for `require 'rails_helper'` entirely.
