New service parameter ‘localhost_match_any’ allows localhost matching
the wildcard host.
Default value is 0, don’t match.
It may be changed if backend servers don’t have the anonymous user
‘’@localhost
server/core/config.c: Removed unused if..else block from config_get_valint. Changed it also to return value which indicates whether the operation succeed. Added config_get_valbool similar to config_get_valint.
service.c:Added typelib-like struct and array of valid boolean values. Fixed parameter type test in service_set_param_value. Completed boolean type parameter handling.
hintparser.c:Fixed error message for non-maxscale hints.
readwritesplit.c:Added loading of configuration parameters from service to instance and from instance to each new session. Fixed routing condition in get_route_target. Modified get_route_target so that it takes also rw_read_sesvars_from_slaves and rw_write_sesvars_to_all as parameters.
skygw_types.h: added array size counting macro.
Added a lot of logging to error, trace and message logs which should help the user to handle errors which can't be automatically resolved, like attempt to use nonexisting database.
command to call the diagnostic entries points of the filters in the
session.
Slight improvements to the two example filters and a fix to the
trim routine.
Only downstream filters are supported currently, i.e. no result
set filtering can be done.
A crude QLA (Query Log All) filter is included as a test harness only
In order to be able to protect the interface so that mistyped argument
do not endanger MaxScale yet still allow the developer access a router
option has been added that gives the debugcli two modes.
In practice, 'reload config' reads config file and updates config parameters of rwsplit router service. In addition to that there is a version number indicating what generation of configuration service holds. When router instance is created (when MaxScale is started) service's config version is copied to router intance. Whenever new client connection (rwsplit session) is started, router instance's config version is checked against that of service's. If versions differ, service's config data is copied to router instance. New session will be started with router instance's config values.
query_classifier.cc use of uninitialized value in skygw_stmt_causes_implicit_commit
config.c crashed if module load failed, use of unitialized value
load_utils.c pretty-printed error
service.c use of uninitialized value in service_add_qualified_param
modules.h function prototype
readwritesplit.c memory leaks
Parameter it read from config file to CONFIG_CONTEXT's parameter list. It is qualified in service.c:service_set_slave_conn_limit and if qualified, the qualified integer value and the value type are copied to the CONFIG_PARAMETER structure.
This CONFIG_PARAMETER struct is cloned (=copied to different memory area) and linked to RW Split SERVICE struct.
When RW Split router_instance is created in readwritesplit.c:createInstance, the value is copied to (new) rwsplit_config_t structure from SERVICE's parameter list.
When new routing session is created in readwritesplit.c:newSession, the rwsplit_config_t structure is copied to ROUTER_CLIENT_SES struct and the actual max_nslaves value is calculated from the config value (if percentage is used).
Tests and many error handling branches are missing but functionality seems to be working.
At service startup service->rate_limit.last is set back to
USERS_REFRESH_TIME
This allows reloading users’ table as soon as possible
Fixed mysql_users_alloc instead of users_alloc in replace_mysql_users()
and added MYSQL_USER_MAXLEN where missing
file_write_footer, added checks for the case of failed memory allocation.
service.c
serviceRestart, added check for return value of poll_add_dcb. In failure, service is not moved to SESSION_STATE_LISTENER state and listener counter is not increased.
State update for filewriter was missing and that caused Maxscale to fail if opening of any log file failed.
dcb.c:
Added EAGAIN and EWOULDBLOCK handling to dcb_read. If dcb_close is called for freshly created dcb, dcb is only freed.
gateway.c:
Added file_write_footer and write_footer of which the latter is called at exit time. It simply draws a line to screen.
gw_utils.c:
Some macros for helping comparison between gw_read_gwbuff and dcb_read, which overlap.
poll.c:
Some macros to help enable/disable mutexing in poll_waitevents
service.c:
Check return value of listen and session_alloc and behave accordingly.
mysql_client.c:
If ioctl returned successfully with b==0 it earlier caused closing the client and backend dcbs. Since that doesn't reliably indicate that client has closed socket on its side, Maxscale doesn't close its sockets either.
mysql_common.c:
In gw_receive_backend_auth, if dcb_read returns n==0, it is not considered as an error anymore. The implemented behavior is not yet complete and correct. Result should be successful but the protocol state shouldn't change to MYSQL_IDLE before backend return is received.
In gw_send_authentication_to_backend protocol state was always set to MYSQL_AUTH_RECV even if gw_rwite had failed. Now, return value is read and state is set in caller's context basen on the return value.
skygw_utils.cc:
Removed ss_dassert from skyge_file_init because it prevented from returning meaningful error meassage to the client.:
