See script directory for method. The script to run in the top level
MaxScale directory is called maxscale-uncrustify.sh, which uses
another script, list-src, from the same directory (so you need to set
your PATH). The uncrustify version was 0.66.
The configuration system that modules use allows the SSL parameter
validation to be simplified. It should also provide more consistent error
messages for similar types of errors.
The SSL_LISTENER initialization is now done in one step. There was no good
reason to do it in two separate steps for listeners but in one step for
servers.
The `ssl` parameter now also accepts boolean values. As the parameter
behaves like a boolean and looks like a boolean, it ought to be a
boolean. It still accepts the custom `required` and `disabled` values
simply for backwards compatibility.
Also added the missing freeing functions for the SSL_LISTENER type. This
prevents failed SSL_LISTENER creations from leaking memory.
The state of each individual listener is now displayed in the REST
API. Created common functions for printing the listener state and took
them into use. Added the new state into MaxCtrl output.
The listener iterator hides the details of the listener iteration behind a
small set of functions.
The following for-loop demonstrates the main use-case for the iterator:
LISTENER_ITERATOR iter;
for (SERV_LISTENER *listener = listener_iterator_init(service, &iter);
listener; listener = listener_iterator_next(&iter))
{
/** Do something with the listener */
}
As the listeners are mostly iterated to either check a fact about them or
print their information, the functions cater to that use-case. For this
reason, they should always be allocated off the stack.
The service port list is now iterated in a safe and lock-free manner. This
makes the handling of service ports somewhat simpler since once an item
has been added to the list it will never be removed. It also removes the
need to lock the service when checking whether a service listens on a port
which caused potential deadlocks.
If a resource can be accessed from more than one place, it should be a
link. The previous change that duplicated the content for nested resources
wasn't a very clean solution. With links, the content is easier to browse
using a normal browser.
The get_users function now combines the functionality of the old get_users
and get_all_users. This removes large parts of similar code.
Removed the listener resources as MySQLAuth was the only one that used it.
The created listeners are now stored to disk like created servers
are. This allows them to be used even after a restart.
Currently, the listeners cannot be deleted and need to be manually
removed.
- All now include maxscale/cdefs.h as the very first file.
- MXS_[BEGIN|END]_DECLS added to all C-headers.
Strictly speaking not necessary for private headers, but
does not hurt either.
- Include guards moved to the very top of the file.
- #pragma once added.
- Headers now to be included as <maxscale/xyz.h>
- First step, no cleanup of headers has been made. Only moving
from one place to another + necessary modifications.
