To open this dialog, choose <emph>File - Save As</emph>.</paragraph>

<paragraph role="paragraph" id="par_id9359111" xml-lang="en-US" l10n="NEW">When saving a file, %PRODUCTNAME always appends an extension to the file name, except when the file name already has an extension that matches the file type. See the list of <link href="text/shared/00/00000021.xhp">ODF extensions</link>. </paragraph>
