<listing> is called @code / @endcode in doxygen.
@example requires a file name in doxygen.
Also adapt various silly examples that use tools String in C++ or manual
syntax highlighting in Java etc.

I used this "one-liner" to detect comment lines containing
only spaces and '=' or '-'
$ find . -name "*.*" -exec sed -i '/^\s*\/\/\s*[-=]*\s*$/d' {} \;

Fixes many spelling errors (checked with en_US spell checker).
Unifies spelling of some common words.
Replaces single quotes ('') with double quotes ("").
Fixes several other errors.
