5b83af49c1 Fix leak of NSAutoreleasePool.
This looks like something that's no longer applicable. From what I saw this code path isn't on a static initializer that runs before main. Should be okay to drain (release) pool outside of this scope.

34a6764981 Remove the checks.h dependence on logging.h in a standalone build.
logging.h apparently drags in a lot of undesirable dependencies. It was
only required for the trivial LogMessageVoidify; simply add an
identical FatalMessageVoidify instead.

Keep the include in a Chromium build to still have the override
mechanism use Chromium's macros.

Bonus: Add the missing DCHECK_GT (noticed by bercic).

b0dc3d7204 Precompile out our standalone CHECK macros in a Chromium build.
As documented, the use of overrides/webrtc/base/logging.h in a Chromium
build reuslts in redefined macro errors. Fortunately, Chromium's macros
can be used as drop-in replacements for the standalone versions.

a5b7869f3d Add CHECK and friends from Chromium.
Replace FATAL_ERROR_IF with the more familiar (to Chromium developers)
CHECK and DCHECK. The full Chromium implementation is fairly elaborate
but I copied enough to get us most of the benefits. I believe the main
missing component is a more advanced stack dump. For this bit I relied
on the V8 implementation.

There are a few minor modifications from the Chromium original:
- The FatalMessage class is specialized for logging fatal error
messages and aborting. Chromium uses the general LogMessage class,
which we could consider moving towards in the future.
- NOTIMPLEMENTED() and NOTREACHED() have been removed, partly because
I don't want to rely on our logging.h until base/ and system_wrappers/
are consolidated.
- FATAL() replaces LOG(FATAL).

Minor modifications from V8's stack dump:
- If parsing of a stack trace symbol fails, just print the unparsed
symbol. (I noticed this happened on Mac.)
- Use __GLIBCXX__ and __UCLIBC__. This is from examining the backtrace
use in Chromium.

UNREACHABLE() has been removed because its behavior is different than
Chromium's NOTREACHED(), which is bound to cause confusion. The few uses
were replaced with FATAL(), matching the previous behavior.

Add a NO_RETURN macro, allowing us to remove unreachable return
statements following a CHECK/FATAL.

TESTED=the addition of dummy CHECK, DCHECK, CHECK_EQ and FATAL did the
did the right things. Stack traces work on Mac, but I don't get symbols
on Linux.

42ee5b54b5 GN: Disable Chromium clang plugins for standalone build.
Now that WebRTC has rolled the chromium_revision past
http://crrev.com/284372 in r6784, clang has become the
default compiler. Since WebRTC standalone code doesn't
yet compile the Chromium Clang plugins enabled, this CL
disables them for the parts of the code that doesn't yet pass
compilation with them enabled.

The buildbots are using Goma which is not yet switched
over to Clang by default. That's why they're not red yet.

74aaf29a0f Raw packet loss rate reported by RTP_RTCP module may vary too drastically over time. This CL is to add a filter to the value in VoE before lending it to audio coding module.
The filter is an exponential filter borrowed from video coding module.

The method is written in a new class called PacketLossProtector (not sure if the name is nice), which can be used in the future for more sophisticated logic.

7497fa74e4 GN: Refactor base/BUILD.gn and fix dbus-glib error.
Refactor webrtc/base/BUILD.gn to not have any subtracted
source entries.

Also fix an error in webrtc/BUILD.gn that occurs when running
on Chormium trybots as a part of enabling WebRTC for GN in
https://codereview.chromium.org/321313006/
The error is that pkg-config for dbus-glib fails. Workaround
this by putting the pkg-config entry within the proper condition.

1227ab89a7 GN: Add BUILD.gn files + kjellander to OWNERS
This should work as a foundation for all the work that is
left to do to make the parts of WebRTC that Chromium uses
to build with GN.

I implemented some the smaller modules myself in this CL.
The remaining work (TODO's in the .gn files) will be distributed
to various team members.

I'm adding myself to OWNERS files for BUILD.gn files in all the
directories where I'm adding a BUILD.gn file.

851a09e71a Initial GN work for WebRTC
This CL makes it possible to build the 'webrtc_base'
target using GN.
The majority of our GYP stuff in webrtc/build/common.gypi has been
translated into the configs of webrtc/BUILD.gn.
The webrtc/base/base.gyp file is translated into webrtc/base/BUILD.gn.

This CL depends on https://codereview.chromium.org/322373002/ for the
jsoncpp BUILD.gn file and the ssl config.
To build inside Chromium, https://codereview.chromium.org/321313006/
needs to be landed first.

BUG=webrtc:3441
TEST=
Successful compilation of WebRTC as standalone:
gn gen out/Default --args="build_with_chromium=false" && ninja -C out/Default
gn gen out/Default --args="build_with_chromium=false is_clang=true" && ninja -C out/Default
I also ran:
gn gen out/Default --args="build_with_chromium=false have_dbus_glib=true"
but it fails to compile: something is probably wrong with with pkg-config for that.

For Chromium, I symlinked src/third_party/webrtc to the webrtc subfolder of the
WebRTC checkout and applied the following patches:
https://codereview.chromium.org/322373002 (for jsoncpp and ssl config)
https://codereview.chromium.org/321313006 (enable building WebRTC)
Then I built successfully using:
gn gen out/Default && ninja -C out/Default webrtc_base

9f36c087f1 Makes it possible to prevent some third party libraries (jsoncpp and openssl) from being linked. This makes it possible to link webrtc with external implementations of those libraries in case the project depending on webrtc requires another version of those libraries.

2bae3211b1 Add missing sources to webrtc/base/base.gyp
During my work on setting up a GN build for
WebRTC, I discovered that the base.gyp is trying
to remove source files (for the Chromium build)
that are not added in the initial set.
I assume these files should be listed and that
GYP just doesn't complain when it's trying to
remove a file that is not present in the sources
list.

natserver_main.cc is also removed, since it's not used anywhere.

There are also a couple of other header files that are
used in other code that probably also should be listed in
base.gyp (please do this in another CL):
* compile_assert.h
* dscp.h
* move.h
* template_util.h

BUG=None
TEST=Trybots passing clobber compile step.

3c13ed3b93 json.h include different header files depending on WEBRTC_CHROMIUM_BUILD being defined or not. Since json.h/cc is not even used in chromium it is the wrong flag to use. Instead add WEBRTC_EXTERNAL define. Also added OWNERS for base which is a copy of system_wrappers owners as the two folders are being merged.
