Support implement UDF through GRPC protocol. This brings several benefits:
1. The udf implementation language is not limited to c++, users can use any familiar language to implement udf
2. UDF is decoupled from Doris, udf will not cause doris coredump, udf computing resources are separated from doris, and doris services are not affected
But RPC's UDF has a fixed overhead, so its performance is much slower than C++ UDF, especially when the amount of data is large.
Create function like
```
CREATE FUNCTION rpc_add(INT, INT) RETURNS INT PROPERTIES (
"SYMBOL"="add_int",
"OBJECT_FILE"="127.0.0.1:9999",
"TYPE"="RPC"
);
```
Function service need to implement `check_fn` and `fn_call` methods
Note:
THIS IS AN EXPERIMENTAL FEATURE, THE INTERFACE AND DATA STRUCTURE MAY BE CHANGED IN FUTURE !!!
This PR mainly changes:
1. Help to Cancel the load job ASAP when encounter unqualified data.
Solution is described in #6318 .
Also replace some std::stringstream with fmt::memory_buffer to avoid performance issues.
2. fix a NPE bug when create user with empty host
3. fix compile warning after rebasing the master(vectorization)
Transfer RowBatch in Protobuf Request to Controller Attachment,
when the maximum length of the RowBatch in the Protobuf Request is exceeded.
This can avoid reaching the upper limit of the Protobuf Request length (2G),
and it is expected that performance can be improved.
The broker scan node has two tuple descriptors:
One is dest tuple and the other is src tuple.
The src tuple is used to read the lines of the original file,
and the dest tuple is used to save the converted lines.
The preceding filter is executed on the src tuple, so src tuple descriptor should be used
to initialize the filter expression
1. replace all boost::shared_ptr to std::shared_ptr
2. replace all boost::scopted_ptr to std::unique_ptr
3. replace all boost::scoped_array to std::unique<T[]>
4. replace all boost:thread to std::thread
This is part of the array type support and has not been fully completed.
The following functions are implemented
1. fe array type support and implementation of array function, support array syntax analysis and planning
2. Support import array type data through insert into
3. Support select array type data
4. Only the array type is supported on the value lie of the duplicate table
this pr merge some code from #4655#4650#4644#4643#4623#2979
1. support in/bloomfilter/minmax
2. support broadcast/shuffle/bucket shuffle/colocate join
3. opt memory use and cpu cache miss while build runtime filter
4. opt memory use in left semi join (works well on tpcds-95)
1. Add a new dynamic partition property `create_history_partition`.
If set to true, Doris will create all partitions from `start` to `end`.
2. Add a new FE config `max_dynamic_partition_num`
To limit the number of partitions created when creating one table.
MemTracker can provide memory consumption for us to find out which
module consume more memory, but it's just a current value, this patch
add metrics for some large memory consumers, then we can find out
which module consume more memory in timeline, it would be useful to
troubleshoot OOM problems and optimize configs.

Support conditional filtering of original data in broker load and routine load
eg:
```
LOAD LABEL `label1`
(
DATA INFILE ('bos://cmy-repo/1.csv')
INTO TABLE tbl2
COLUMNS TERMINATED BY '\t'
(event_day, product_id, ocpc_stage, user_id)
SET (
ocpc_stage = ocpc_stage + 100
)
PRECEDING FILTER user_id = 1381035
WHERE ocpc_stage > 30
)
...
```
At present, the application of vlog in the code is quite confusing.
It is inherited from impala VLOG_XX format, and there is also VLOG(number) format.
VLOG(number) format does not have a unified specification, so this pr standardizes the use of VLOG
ThreadSanitizer, aka TSAN, is a useful tool to detect multi-thread
problems, such as data race, mutex problems, etc.
We should detect TSAN problems for Doris BE, both unit tests and
server should pass through TSAN mode, to make Doris more robustness.
This is the very beginning patch to fix TSAN problems, and some
difficult problems are suppressed in file 'tsan_suppressions', you
can suppress these problems by setting:
export TSAN_OPTIONS="suppressions=tsan_suppressions"
before running:
`BUILD_TYPE=tsan ./run-be-ut.sh --run`
We make all MemTrackers shared, in order to show MemTracker real-time consumptions on the web.
As follows:
1. nearly all MemTracker raw ptr -> shared_ptr
2. Use CreateTracker() to create new MemTracker(in order to add itself to its parent)
3. RowBatch & MemPool still use raw ptrs of MemTracker, it's easy to ensure RowBatch & MemPool destructor exec
before MemTracker's destructor. So we don't change these code.
4. MemTracker can use RuntimeProfile's counter to calc consumption. So RuntimeProfile's counter need to be shared
too. We add a shared counter pool to store the shared counter, don't change other counters of RuntimeProfile.
Note that, this PR doesn't change the MemTracker tree structure. So there still have some orphan trackers, e.g. RowBlockV2's MemTracker. If you find some shared MemTrackers are little memory consumption & too time-consuming, you could make them be the orphan, then it's fine to use the raw ptr.
Result may error when ORC load negative decimal value
When load negative decimal which has pre zero , the result is wrong.
eg -0.0014, the orc result is -14(precision ... 0)
Mainly change:
1. Fix the bug in `update_status(status)` of `PlanFragmentExecutor`.
2. When the FE Coordinator executes `execRemoteFragmentAsync()`, if it finds an RPC error, return a Future with an error code instead of exception.
3. Protect the `_status` in RuntimeState with lock
4. Move the `_runtime_profile` of RuntimeState before the `_obj_pool`, so that the profile will be
deconstructed after the object pool.
5. Remove the unused `ObjectPool` param in RuntimeProfile constructor. If I don't remove it,
RuntimeProfile will depends on the `_obj_pool` in RuntimeProfile.
#3479
Here I try to explain the cause of the problem and how to fix it.
**The Cause of The problem**
Take the case in issue(#3479 ) as an example:
The general results are as follows:
```
GET table/_doc/_search
{"query":{"match_all":{}},"stored_fields":"_none_","docvalue_fields":["k1"],"sort":["_doc"],"size":100}
{
"took": 6,
"timed_out": false,
"_shards": {
……
},
"hits": {
"total": 3,
"max_score": null,
"hits": [
{
"_index": "table",
"_score": null,
"sort": [
0
]
},
{
"_index": "table",
"_score": null,
"fields": {
"k1": [
"kkk1"
]
},
"sort": [
0
]
},
{
"_index": "table",
"_score": null,
"sort": [
0
]
}
]
}
}
```
But in Doris on ES,Be fetched data parallelly on all shards, and use `filter_path` to reduce the network cost. The process will be as follows:
```
GET table/_doc/_search?preference=_shards:1&filter_path=_scroll_id,hits.hits._source,hits.total,_id,hits.hits._source.fields,hits.hits.fields
{"query":{"match_all":{}},"stored_fields":"_none_","docvalue_fields":["k1"],"sort":["_doc"],"size":100}
{
"hits": {
"total": 0
}
}
GET table/_doc/_search?preference=_shards:2&filter_path=_scroll_id,hits.hits._source,hits.total,_id,hits.hits._source.fields,hits.hits.fields
{"query":{"match_all":{}},"stored_fields":"_none_","docvalue_fields":["k1"],"sort":["_doc"],"size":100}
{
"hits": {
"total": 1
}
}
GET table/_doc/_search?preference=_shards:3&filter_path=_scroll_id,hits.hits._source,hits.total,_id,hits.hits._source.fields,hits.hits.fields
{"query":{"match_all":{}},"stored_fields":"_none_","docvalue_fields":["k1"],"sort":["_doc"],"size":100}
{
"hits": {
"total": 1,
"hits": [
{
"fields": {
"k1": [
"kkk1"
]
}
}
]
}
}
```
*Scan-Worker On BE which processed result of shard2 will failed.*
**The reasons are as follows:**
1. "filter_path" causes the hits.hits object not exist.
2. In the current implementation, if there are some data rows(total > 0), the hits.hits. object must be an array
**How To Fix it**
Two Method:
1. modify "filter_path" to contain the hits.
Pros: Fixed Code is very simple
Cons: More network cost
2. Deal with the case where fields are missing in a batch.
Pros: No loss of performance
Cons: Code is more complex
Performance first, I use Method2.
**Design**
1. Add a variable "_doc_value_mode" into Class "EsScrollParser" to =indicate whether the data processed by this parser is doc_value_mode or not.
2. "_doc_value_mode" is passed from ESScollReader <- ESScanner <- ScrollQueryBuilder::build() that determines whether DSL is enable doc_value_mode
3. When hits.hits of response from ES is empty and total > 0. We know there are data lines, but the corresponding fields do not exist. EsScrollParser will use "_doc_value_mode" and _total to construct _total lines which fields are assigned with 'NULL'
LSAN detected errors have been fixed by a prior pathch (#3326), but
there are still some ASAN detected errors.
This patch try to fix these errors to make Doris BE more robustness.
And then we can add CI run in LSAN/ASAN mode to detect memory errors
as early as possible.
