Since 12.2, the orange/red indicator at the top right of the screen shows up as a window in the Chrome getDisplayMedia() picker, as it's not filtered out by the existing filters. WebRTC is a free, open software project that provides browsers and mobile applications with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities via simple APIs. The WebRTC components have been optimized to best serve this purpose.
